For ten years we grew weed for other people. Big brands, small brands, white-label ops. We learned the plant inside out — and we learned how much of the retail price has nothing to do with what’s in the bag.
In 2024, we started Happy Bud. Same craft California farms we’d worked with for a decade. Same small batches, hand-trimmed and slow-cured. Just shipped direct — no retail markup, no middleman.

Good cannabis, fair prices, sold the way we'd want it sold to us.

Co-founder · Sourcing & Quality

Ten years cultivating in Mendocino and Humboldt. Started out trimming, worked his way up to head grower at three different farms before going contract. Now handles relationships with all our growers and approves every batch before it ships. Knows what good looks like because he’s grown it.

Maya

Co-founder · Operations & Community

Spent the same ten years on the supply chain side: cultivation operations, post-harvest, wholesale logistics. Now runs everything on this side of the curtain — the site, the packaging, the social, the community. The reason our DMs get answered. Has strong opinions about cure times and which strains make you good company.
